How to Join

The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance attend events which may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and more. Our "royalty" hold courts at which they recognize and honor members for their contributions to the group.

Any of our members will tell you the best way to become an integral part of our family is to become as active as your mundane (real-life) responsibilities allow. With that in mind, check out our Calendar for information on our regular get-togethers.

While SCA membership is not required for you to participate in the activities, it is highly recommended for the following reasons.

*You will receive the kingdom newsletter, The Acorn, which will provide information on other events in the kingdom.

*Your membership will allow you to participate fully in SCA activities.

*Also, there is a $5 event registration fee for non-members to attend SCA events, so membership saves money.

*SCA memberships are priced affordably, plus student memberships and family discounts are also available.

If you would like additional information about our canton, use our Contact Form. We also have a monthly business meeting held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm. We meet at different locations; so, please check the CALENDAR for this month's location.

Again, welcome to the Canton of Crois Brigte and the Barony of The Sacred Stone.
